The Pacific Northwest Mennonite Historical Society extends an open invitation to its annual meeting and luncheon, Saturday, January 20, 12:00 p.m. at Zion Mennonite Church, Hubbard, OR. The theme, Conscience over Convenience, will highlight stories from World War II’s Civilian Public Service program. It’s time to get a Handel on the season! Zion Mennonite Church invites you to join in this annual event on Saturday, December 9 at 7pm, to sing or listen to selections from this beloved oratorio, accompanied by piano and a string ensemble. No rehearsals. Directed by Thomas Gingerich. Free but donations are encouraged to pay the instrumentalists and soloists. Refreshments following.
