Arthur Boers, pastor, professor and pilgrim will be speaking and signing copies of his books at Book Bin East (2235 Lancaster Dr. NE Salem, OR) on Thursday, November 6 at 7 pm. Boers’ book The Way Is Made by Walking explores pilgrimage as spiritual practice by relating his own experience walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. His most recent book, Living into Focus: Choosing What Matters in an Age of Distractions, looks at how people of faith can navigate the stresses of modern life by focusing on enlivening communal practices.
